Featured on the 5050 Tremolo series and the 3255 hardtail, these bent steel saddles are specially designed with threads over the entire height of the saddle, leading to better tuning stability and a honkier sound.
Saddle screws tend to adjust themselves through string oscillation – incorrect intonation & detuning follows. The more grip the screws have, the more stable the tuning & sound transmissions are. Likewise, many guitarists appreciate a guitar bridge with a flat palm rest without sharp, protruding screws.
ABM solved this issue by:
The height adjustment screws and the intonation screw are firmly seated in the threads of the saddles, so that they do not adjust themselves mid-play.
The PVS saddles have, in contrast to other commercially available “vintage saddles”, in their flanks a thread that holds the screws reliably. This way even extremely short screws can be used for height adjustment. No protruding screws means a more comfortable bridge, perfect for players who like to palm mute a lot!
An excellent upgrade for your bridge!
